After 16 years of healing work and 8 years of helping to bring Waldorf and Earthschooling to homes all around the world I am opening up an online consulting group to meet the growing needs of the community. Members of the enrichment program will continue to get free tech-support and help on getting started with their program and healing students (www.TheAvicennaInstitute.com)  will continue to get help with their assignments, however, all consulting questions will now be directed to:

There are many people who just need a "little help" now and then and would rather not commit to a full consulting session for one single issue, but they would also rather get help and answers from a professional instead of a general group list. This new group is for these people or for anyone who would like a place where they can go on a regular basis to consult with a professional about health or homeschooling. By joining this group you can get ongoing help on all those little things from a professional for the same price it costs for one hour consulting session on one issue.

This group will now be the only place where I will be answering consulting questions having to do with Homeschooling, Earthschooling, Waldorf, and Healing. If you wish your question to be private you can still e-mail me and I can post an anonymous Q & A to the list. However, I will no longer be able to answer consulting questions from any non-members of the list - via e-mail or Yahoogroups. I simply do not have the time to field the hundreds of e-mails I get daily from the public in general and I don't want people to think I am ignoring them, or that the only way to get an answer is to pay for an hour of consulting.

You do not need to be a member of any of my online classes to join this consulting group. All homeschooling and health questions posted to the forum/group will be answered within 1-7 days at no additional cost beyond your small monthly membership fee.

At this time I answer a lot of personal e-mails off-list and then have to file and re-post to various member lists. This process slows down my response time and the chances that more than one person can benefit from my answer to a question. This new system should increase my ability to answer consulting questions by at least ten-fold so I can offer more to the community and be more efficient with member e-mails as well.               

So what is a consulting question?

This NEW service provides a platform for members to ask consulting questions on Homeschooling, Earthschooling, Waldorf AND HEALING. There are three kinds of consulting questions:

1. Quick questions like "Where can I buy silk yarn" or "At what age do children start to read in Waldorf?" or "What is a typical remedy for a fever?" or "What is the best herb for acid reflux?"You can post these questions for free to the community at herbnhome@yahoogroups.com or waldorfschoolonline@yahoogroups.com . I will still be online at these public lists to answer short questions such as these and participate in general discussions.

2. Complex questions like: "I need some stories in Spanish that are Waldorf-compatible" or "What can I do to lower my 3-year-old's fever today?" or "Can you help me organize the rhythm of my day with 3 kids?" or "How can I help myself or my child with their asthma in a natural way" etc...These questions can be posted to this paid forum and will be answered within 1-7 days. I will no longer be answering these questions on the public list or for non-members.

3. Personal complex questions like: "We need a schedule for our homeschool program that is detailed for every day of the week." or "My daughter has had long-term problems with allergies and we need to know what her allergies are, what herbs she can take and what foods are best for her."etc... These questions are more suited to a personal consultation.
